I thought I would redo my post for Mother's Day again this year. I am making the lemon sugar hand scrub again, well actually, the students will be making it. Below you can read all about the ingredients you need and how to put it all together for a sweet Mother's Day gift. To download all the files you will need including the ingredient list, the card inserts and the labels, CLICK THE IMAGE BELOW or HERE.
I included these with the gift so Moms would know what the gift was made with, and how to use it. |
THIS RECIPE MAKES ONE JAR OF HAND SCRUB. YOU NEED TO BUY MATERIALS IN BULK DEPENDING ON THE SIZE OF YOUR CLASS. |
UPDATE: 2016: This year I am using small mason jars for the sugar scrub so I created some tags which could be tied around the neck of the jar. If you would like a copy just click on the image below to download from Google Drive.
We made cards to accompany our final product.

Thanks Fern! Everytime I think I am one step ahead I fall five steps behind. BUT I do keep getting up and going! Hope all is well with you in sunny Florida!

ReplyDeleteAs fellow Canadians, we all work so hard creating products for a niche market. I'm hoping to host a Canadian specific event to boost all our TPT sales and/or bring traffic to our blogs in the coming months, and so I've created this little survey to see what we're all interested in. Please fill out and share with your followers and friends too please! https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/5T5V5ZW
ReplyDeleteThanks Mrs. D. I filled out the survey earlier today! Hope we can do something again this year. I loved the Booking Across Canada last year!

Thanks for this great idea!! I just made a test batch but find that mine doesn’t look yellow like yours does. I just used grape seed oil because it’s what I had on hand so I’m wondering if the olive oil affects the colour?
ReplyDeleteLuluu,
ReplyDeleteI think that year it was so yellow because of the lemon juice and the lemon essential oil I used. The past few years, the scrub has been pretty white. I have also been using grapeseed oil and hadn't thought about the olive oil, that could be it though! Thanks for reading and commenting!
