“Giftedness is not what you do or how hard you work. It is who you are. You think differently. You experience life intensely. You care about injustice. You seek meaning. You appreciate and strive for the exquisite. You are painfully sensitive. You are extremely complex. You cherish integrity. Your truth-telling has gotten you in trouble. Should 98% of the population find you odd, seek the company of those who love you just the way you are. You are not broken. You do not need to be fixed. You are utterly fascinating. Trust yourself!”

Launching Hands-On, Minds-On Science and Technology Centres

When I started creating my Hands-On, Minds-On Science and Technology Centres a few years ago, I was determined to get them made so that teachers of single and combined grades would have a way to address the expectations of the Ontario curriculum. The centres approach is engaging for students and manageable for teachers.

I have written several blog posts about using centres in my classroom and have directed buyers to these blog posts, but I knew that a guide filled with pictures and suggestions would make the use of centres more approachable.

Launching Hands-On, Minds-On Science and Technology Centres guide is a FREE download from TpT store.  If you already own any of my bundles, you can download the guide as part of a NEW BONUS file which is included with your purchase. Just go to the MY PURCHASES tab after you log in to TpT, find the bundle you purchased and download the BONUS file.

If you own any of the individual centres or are just interested, you can click on the image above and get your own copy of the guide for FREE.

Please feel free to comment with questions or additional ideas about how you have made Hands-On, Minds-On Science and Technology Centres work in your classroom.
