“Giftedness is not what you do or how hard you work. It is who you are. You think differently. You experience life intensely. You care about injustice. You seek meaning. You appreciate and strive for the exquisite. You are painfully sensitive. You are extremely complex. You cherish integrity. Your truth-telling has gotten you in trouble. Should 98% of the population find you odd, seek the company of those who love you just the way you are. You are not broken. You do not need to be fixed. You are utterly fascinating. Trust yourself!”

Canadian Teacher Pages to Follow on Facebook

I have many awesome teacher friends.  Teachers I know through our online interactions who are passionate about education.  These are amazing people who have so much to share with the teaching community.  There are many outstanding Canadian teacher pages for you to follow, but I would like to introduce you to fifteen of my favourites (in no particular order)!

1.

Runde's Room is a treasure trove of interesting, curriculum based ideas and activities which the author, Jennifer has put to the test in her Ontario classroom.  She has a bit of everything from math to language arts, art to drama.  Be sure to add her to your list.

2.
Addie is an amazing west coast teacher who has a laid back vibe and great resources.  Her focus is on middle and high school and you will always find something new and inspiring from her page. My students LOVED her Moon Phases activity with Oreo cookies while we were learning about Space.
3.

This is one of my best blogging buddies and she puts her heart and soul into her work as a teacher and in creating new and interesting ideas for the middle school classroom.  Her history resources are a life saver for those implementing the new Social Studies Curriculum in Ontario.

4.
One of the kindest people on the web! Shelley is an experienced teacher from the west coast who excels at everything she does. She is an awesome primary teacher with a love and passion for teaching language arts.  Don't miss out on her amazing resources for teaching social responsibility.

5.

Smack dab in the middle you will find the Classroom Sparrow. Shey is a dedicated teacher from Manitoba who creates amazing resources for a variety of areas.  I love her flip books and foldables.

6.

If you are a French speaking teacher in Ontario, Mme. Aiello is the person to follow.  She is up to date and in tune with the needs of today's middle school students.  She has lots of great ideas which she shares willingly with everyone!

7.

Whether you love clip art or you love awesome primary resources Susanna has it all.  Another west coast teacher, she is dedicated to creating interesting, intriguing images which add so much to many of the products you see out there.  She also creates great resources for use in the Canadian classroom.

8.

Erin is an educator from Kingston, Ontario who loves to share her passion for learning with everyone!  Her page shares ideas for classroom management, language arts and more.  There is always something interesting going on in Mrs. Beattie's classroom.

9.

New teachers and veterans alike will enjoy Mrs. Mathis' homeroom.  She is a very dedicated teacher from Northern Ontario who has transitioned from supply teaching to having a full time, split grade classroom.  Renee has lots of inspiring stories and great activities to share!

10.

Ontario teacher?  Look no further, Tina has lots of great ideas and activities for social studies, language and math!  A very popular author on TpT, Tina creates things for that classroom that are tried, true and easy to implement.

11.
Patti from Madly Learning has been madly redesigning her blog and her FB page.  She has tons of great ideas for Ontario teachers who are looking for help with "reading, writing, arithmetic and technology". Her long range plans for combined grades are big sellers in her TpT store.

12.

Miss Monica is a wonderful, caring mother and teacher from Quebec. She hosts weekly link ups on her blog and keeps her followers up to date on her page. Monica creates unique and inviting products for her TpT store and is always super supportive of teachers who pose questions on her FB page or blog.

13.

Heidi keeps her FB page full of "ideas, tips and resources for elementary teachers".  An active blogger, Heidi creates a wide variety of teacher resources, including her very popular "Poem of the Week" bundle.

14.
Terri is another west coast teacher with pizazz!  Right now she has an awesome FREE school year teacher calendar you can download.  Be sure to visit her page for more information and ideas which you can implement in your classroom.

One of my goals for this summer is to keep MY own FB page more up to date and interesting.  I am hoping that by adding my own page to this list, it will keep me sharing fun, engaging and useful tips for my teacher friends!
